STAAR Practice Assessments

Progress Learning’s STAAR Practice Assessments give students a realistic preview of what they’ll face on test day before the stakes are real. As content becomes more rigorous and testing expectations increase in middle school, practice assessments help students build familiarity with the format and manage the demands of the real test. Our STAAR Practice Assessments include:

  • Pre-built assessments that mimic the real STAAR test in both content and format
  • Unique tests for all subjects and grade levels: 6-8 RLA and mathematics, plus 8th grade science and 8th grade social studies
  • Fresh questions that are separate from the existing item bank, so students aren’t seeing questions they’ve answered before
  • Easy and flexible assignment options like start dates, due dates, and retry settings
  • Actionable data that lets teachers immediately assign practice on areas that students need to improve
