What Is Progress Learning?

About the Wisconsin Forward Exam

The Wisconsin Forward Exam is the standardized test administered as part of the Wisconsin Academic Standards. The Math and English Language Arts portions are administered to students in grades 3-8, while the Social Studies portion is administered in grades 4, 8, and 10. The Science exam is administered only in grades 4 and 8.

The Wisconsin Forward Exam is generally administered each spring. It’s designed to provide an ongoing measurement of students’ progress in each assessed area, and provide a foundation for future learning support.

The Math and English Language Arts portions are administered to students in grades 3-8, while the Social Studies portion is administered in grades 4, 8, and 10. The Science exam is administered only in grades 4 and 8.
