What Is Progress Learning?

About Indiana Testing

The Indiana Learning Evaluation Assessment Readiness Network (ILEARN) is a series of tests administered to elementary, middle, and high school students annually in Indiana.

These assessments are usually administered each spring, and provide an ongoing measurement of students’ progress in each assessed area as well as a foundation for future learning support.

At the elementary level, students in grades 3-5 take the ELAR and Math exams, grades 4 and 6 take the Science exam, and grade 5 takes the Social Studies exam.

How Do You Prepare for the ILEARN Assessments?

Interactive Practice Questions

Help students get familiar with the specific format and types of questions they’ll find on the exams with practice questions that interactively respond to student input. Progress Learning can help by providing standards aligned practice to help students prepare for testing.

Skills-Based Learning Modules

Focus on standards-aligned skills within the Indiana Academic Standards, tailored to each elementary grade level.

Official Practice

The Indiana Department of Education offers free practice tests for each content area and grade level, in the exact format of the real tests.
