What Is Progress Learning?

About Indiana Testing

The Indiana Learning Evaluation Assessment Readiness Network (ILEARN) is a series of tests administered to elementary, middle, and high school students annually in Indiana.

These assessments are usually administered each spring, and provide an ongoing measurement of students’ progress in each assessed area. They also provide a foundation for future learning support, and in the case of the SAT, serve as college entrance exams that assess student readiness for higher education.

At the high school level, students are required to take a Biology exam as well as being given the option to take a United States Government exam. High school students are also administered the SAT in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics in Grade 11.

How Do You Prepare for the ILEARN Assessments?

Interactive Practice Questions

Help students get familiar with the specific format and types of questions they’ll find on the exams with practice questions that interactively respond to student input.

Skills-Based Learning Modules

Official Practice

The Indiana Department of Education offers free practice tests for each content area and grade level, in the exact format of the real tests.
