Following our 2022 merger, starting August 1, 2025, the Horizon Education platform will be upgraded and integrated with Progress Learning, giving you access to a wider range of tools, content, and features — all at no additional cost. You’ll continue to have the ACT® and SAT® prep resources you trust, with added capabilities to support even more college, career, and military readiness goals.

What’s Changing?

This is more than a name change. As a Horizon customer, you’ll get:

The same ACT®/SAT® prep and benchmark assessments you’re used to
New assessments and content for WorkKeys®, ASVAB®, GED, HiSET, AP®, ACCUPLACER, and more
Enhanced reporting to support progress monitoring and data-driven instruction
Individualized study plans for personalized practice and remediation
Expanded standards-aligned content across ELA, math, science, and social studies

All of this is delivered through the Progress Learning platform—designed to be user-friendly, flexible, and built for schools.

How will I access my assessments?

Beginning August 1, you will access your benchmark assessments and reporting at app.progresslearning.com instead of app.horizoneducation.com
Will I still have access to Horizon’s ACT® and SAT® tools?

Yes. The Horizon content you rely on will remain available and unchanged, just now accessed through the Progress Learning platform.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for this change?

Not right now. We’ll send training materials and updates in advance of the transition so your team is ready to go on Day 1.
Is there any additional cost for the new content?

No. You’ll automatically receive access to the expanded content and features at no additional cost for the 2025–2026 school year.
Will student data and reporting be preserved?

Yes. All existing data will transition securely, and your reporting will be enhanced with more filtering and tracking options.
Can I opt out of this change?

No. This update is part of our platform improvement initiative and reflects our long-term roadmap. Our goal is to give every school a more powerful and comprehensive toolset.
