Progress Learning subscriptions can be purchased for a single grade-level, a full-campus, and an entire district. We do not charge per-student fees.
Every ACT®/SAT® subscription includes:
For districts that need broader coverage, full College and Career Readiness bundles add support for Advanced Placement (AP), ACT WorkKeys®, GED, Accuplacer, TSIA2 (Texas), HiSET, and ASVAB.
And if your district wants a single platform for everything, Progress Learning also covers all core K-12 subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies), so you’re not managing multiple tools for different needs.
We have a library of ACT®/SAT® coursework with questions that are modeled after released items that teachers can use during whole group instruction or assign to students. Students also have access to this coursework within their Individualized Study Plan.
Coursework is broken down by skill and provides a slide deck or video lesson which includes vocabulary that is relevant to the skill, step by step strategies to arrive at the correct answer and sample questions for students to work on with the support of an instructor (videos).
Our ACT®-modeled benchmark assessments closely reflect the structure, timing, and rigor of the actual ACT® exam. These full-length assessments provide composite scores and subject-level insights to help measure college readiness with accuracy. We offer the same accommodations and accessibility options that are available on the ACT© exam.
This technical document outlines how the new enhanced ACT® and PreACT® suite of assessments are formatted and scored in Progress Learning.
Results Reports
View the results for ACT® and SAT® assessments and assignments, including a summary with composite scores, subsection details that focus on domain and topic performance, an in-depth item-by-item analysis, and a snapshot of individual student performance in scaled score language.
Group and Individual Comparison Reports
Quickly compare two practice assessments to see exactly where students are growing and where they still need support. Both group and individual reports will give you section scores, subsection breakdowns, and question-level analysis.
Progress Report and Remediation
Track progress and cumulative scores for all student activities by subject and standards — in real time. Progress reports can be filtered by assignments and assessments, diagnostics, or Study Plan practice, and sorted by week, month, or year. It takes just a quick click in the Progress Report to assign practice for standards that students are struggling to master.
Yes, and it’s completely free. Reports in Progress Learning can be exported as a .CSV file instantly, directly from the platform, with no request forms, no waiting, and no added cost.
Yes. Progress Learning integrates with Clever, Classlink, Canvas, Schoology, and Google Classroom.
A dedicated coordinator is not needed. The program is designed to be teacher-friendly, and student practice is largely self-guided, so your existing staff can run it without adding a new role.
For professional development, Progress Learning offers flexible training options to fit your campus or district’s schedule, including in-person sessions, virtual PD, and on-demand self-paced learning paths. However your team learns best, we’ll help you get up and running quickly and make the most of every feature.
The earlier, the better! Schools that see the strongest growth treat college readiness as a multi-year process, rather than a last-minute cram session. Starting prep in 9th grade with the PSAT® or PreACT® gives students the most runway to build content knowledge, develop test-taking skills (pacing, reading strategies, problem-solving), and grow year over year.
Within a single school year, benchmark assessments at the beginning and middle of the year create two valuable checkpoints before the official test. Those checkpoints help educators identify skill gaps early, target instruction and remediation where students need it most, and monitor whether their overall plan is working. By the time the official test arrives, students have already had multiple opportunities to improve, and teachers have a clearer picture of what’s working instructionally.
Developing these skills over several years supports not only ACT® and SAT® performance, but broader college and career readiness pathways, including ASVAB, WorkKeys, and End-of-Course assessments.
After using Progress Learning for ACT® prep in Wisconsin, Elmwood High School’s average ACT® composite climbed to 22.8, with several students hitting top-tier scores. See the results.
Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy (LAVCA) improved their ACT® WorkKeys Pass Rate by 100% with Progress Learning. See how.
Students at Lake Arthur Municipal Schools in New Mexico saw an ~80% growth in their SAT® scores from the middle to the end of the year. Read their story.
Most platforms stop at benchmark assessments. Progress Learning connects assessment, instruction, remediation, and engagement in one place, giving teachers the “now what” that most competitors simply don’t offer.
Smarter Insights for Educators
Progress monitoring reports give teachers a clear picture of both whole-class and individual performance, so they can make instructional decisions right after a practice test, not weeks later. The Progress Report makes student grouping straightforward, and Individualized Learning Paths feed ongoing insight into where each student stands.
Flexible Assessment Tools
The custom assessment builder lets teachers create quick checks between benchmarks, keeping the feedback loop tight. Bell Ringers deliver targeted practice tied directly to benchmark results, so students are reinforcing the right skills at the right time.
Personalized Paths for Every Student
Based on benchmark performance, each student gets an individualized Study Plan that targets their specific gaps, keeping remediation focused and growth measurable.
Student Engagement Built In
The Green Dot Challenge motivates students to stay active on the platform, turning prep into something students actually want to engage with rather than something they endure.
Family Visibility
Family Connect brings guardians into the process by giving them access to student scores and assignments, creating a support system that extends beyond the classroom.
