Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, Lennections Assesslets and the Lennections Item Bank from University of Georgia will be accessed through the Progress Learning platform.

Questions About the Transition

If you have questions about the transition, you may be able to find the answer in the questions below.

  • We already use Progress Learning. What does this mean?

Lennections and Progress Learning both offer campus-level and district-level subscriptions. We will contact you before the end of February to determine the most efficient and cost-effective way to continue with your Lennections subscription based on how you buy Lennections and Progress Learning today.

  • Are we losing the Georgia-specific focus?

No. Our Georgia roots are core to who we are. Assesslets and GKIDS will remain Georgia-focused, aligned to Georgia standards, and designed for Georgia classrooms.

  • Is this becoming a generic, multi-state product?

While Progress Learning serves schools in many states, Georgia retains a dedicated roadmap, content, and team. The needs of Georgia schools, educators, and students will not be overshadowed.

  • Lennections Pricing & Contracts

    • Will our Lennections pricing change for the 2026–27 school year?
      • No, your pricing for your Lennections subscriptions will not change in 2026-27.
    • When will we receive our new contract or renewal information?
      • By March 31, 2026.
    • Can we continue with just Assesslets, or do we have to purchase the full Progress Learning platform?
      • Yes, you can continue with just Assesslets. For the rest of this school year, nothing will change. For the 2026-27 school year, Assesslets will be delivered through Progress Learning, instead of being delivered through Lennections’ DSC platform. If you only want to use Assesslets, your pricing will not change. If you choose to access other subjects or solutions from Progress Learning, those will be priced separately.

  • Platform & Access

    • When exactly will we need to transition to the Progress Learning platform?
      • For the 2026-2027 school year. We expect Lennections Asssesslets and the Item Bank to be live in Progress Learning on July 1, 2026.
    • Will our teachers need to learn a completely new system, or is it similar to what we use now?
      • Yes, your teachers will access Lennections Assesslets and Items through Progress Learning. The solutions are similar, many teachers in Georgia already have experience with Progress Learning, and virtually all districts using Lennections also use Progress Learning. We expect this to be a smooth transition.
    • Will our existing assessments and historical student data transfer to Progress Learning?
      • We are currently evaluating the technical feasibility of moving assessments and how legacy data will be stored.

  • Content & Features

    • Will the Assesslets remain the same, or are they changing?
      • Assesslets will remain the same.
    • What type of grading will be available for constructed response items?
      • We will offer a constructed response grading solution that includes manual and automated scoring options.
    • We only use Lennections for ELA and math—do we have to purchase science and social studies too?
      • If you would like to purchase Progress Learning’s popular and robust science and social studies products, you will have the opportunity to.
    • How does Progress Learning compare to what we currently use? Is it better or just different?
      • Progress Learning builds on what you love about Lennections and adds significant new capabilities. You’ll have access to a much larger item bank (200,000+ items), personalized learning paths that adapt to individual student needs, gamification features that boost student engagement, and more robust reporting at the student, class, campus, and district levels. You’ll also have content across all four core subjects and college readiness tools, giving you a one-stop solution for assessment and instruction. Many of our Georgia customers who previously used both Lennections and Progress Learning tell us they appreciate having everything in one platform.

  • Support & Training

    • What kind of training will be provided to help our teachers learn the new platform?
      • Progress Learning will work with you to develop a custom onboarding and training program to support your teachers on the Progress Learning platform
    • Who will be our point of contact during and after the transition?
      • You will be introduced to a Progress Learning CSM that will help with your transition
    • Will the Lennections team we’ve been working with still be available to help us?
      • The Lennections team will continue to service you through the end of this school year on the Lennections platform. Following this school year, you will be assigned a new CSM and support team.

  • What Will Happen to GKIDS?

    • We use GKIDS—does anything change for us?
      • Progress Learning will continue support for GKIDS in partnership with UGA and the GA DOE and you should not expect significant changes.
    • Will GKIDS eventually be integrated into Progress Learning, or will it remain separate?
      • At this time we plan to keep GKIDS as a separate platform.

  • Partnership & Relationships

    • Will the University of Georgia partnership continue?
      • Yes. We have already begun discussions with UGA on expanding and extending the partnership.
    • What happens if we don’t want to transition to Progress Learning? Can we stay with Lennections?
      • Lennections Assesslets and Items will only be available through Progress Learning beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. We will not offer the option to access these solutions through the current Lennections delivery platform after the 2025-2026 school year.
    • Is this acquisition going to affect the quality or Georgia-specific focus we’ve come to rely on?
      • Progress Learning was started in Georgia and it remains our largest state, with almost 200 school districts in Georgia trusting us. We will continue to invest in Assesslets, incorporate platform features into Progress Learning, and provide an upgraded experience for Georgia customers.
